Requirements to Be a Volunteer at Imagine Volunteers

At Imagine Volunteers, we are looking for committed individuals eager to make a difference and live a transformative experience.

If you wish to join as a volunteer, here are the requirements to participate in our programs:

Minimum Age:

Volunteers must be at least 18 years old at the start of the program. Minors are not allowed to participate unless accompanied by their legal guardian throughout the entire stay.

Minimum Duration:

A minimum stay of one week is required to join the volunteer program.

Mandatory Travel Insurance:

It is necessary to have travel insurance that covers medical care, accidents, and repatriation for the duration of the stay.

Commitment and Respect:

All volunteers are expected to maintain a positive attitude, show respect for local cultures, and adhere to the rules established by Imagine Volunteers.

Documentation:

Volunteers must provide:

A copy of their valid passport.
A completed registration form.

Vaccinations and Health:

While not mandatory, we recommend staying up-to-date with routine vaccinations and consulting a physician regarding yellow fever vaccination and malaria prophylaxis.

Languages:

It is not necessary to speak Swahili, but having a basic level of English is recommended for better communication.

Personal Contribution:

Volunteers may participate in purchasing materials or making donations for program activities. Although not mandatory, any additional help is warmly welcomed.
